The First Post is Always the Awkward One.

Hi Beautifuls,

As you can see, this is my very first blog post! I can't believe it. I've spent almost two days trying to save the background of my header as transparent, getting frustrated and having tantrums. I could feel my husbands eyes burning into the back of my head, I knew what he was thinking, ''For goodness sake woman, why are you so concerned over the header? It's not like it matters''. Well, first opinions count. I know, I have terrible editing skills, terrible designing skills and in the future I should probably hire someone to make my blog look impressive and professional. I think I'll leave that for now and for the meantime, I'll tell you about this...Mission Imbeautiful.

Mission Imbeautiful is my new baby, since my current one is now three years old and protests when I try to snuggle her in my lap for more than thirty seconds. I'm a stay at home mother from beautiful England, with a quickly aging Skye-Louise, a blonde cutie with a cheeky attitude and an obsession with hair clips and anything pink. Being a Mother is awesome, don't get me wrong. But, I've come to a point where I would like something for ME, A project of my home, something to keep my occupied when my husband is shooting zombies and my daughter is snoozing (And the housework is done).

I am 23 in a week! I always get told that I am young to be married, I say ''Why wait when you know he's the one?''. Me and Daniel, met at school and drifted apart. At 18 we were reunited and had a beautiful bouncing baby, (The first of many *wink*). At 21 we were married and moved into Naval Housing. Daniel is in the Navy and I'll admit that it is often hard, being away from him for so long at a time, but I'd wait forever for him. (I know, I know, barf alert).

I am a massive fan of all things make-up, all things clothing and all things beauty related. Sure, my make up collection is not of extreme proportions, but it's mine and it's something that I enjoy playing with, make-up is my art. I am not a perfect applier of make-up, but during the time that this blog is running, I hope to learn and grow my application skills. I am currently saving to start a course to train as a make-up artist, my life's dream!

This blog will be rife with reviews, clothes, make-up looks, tutorials and a bit of daily life. Consider this a journal of me. My Mission of Beauty!

So, grab a cup of tea, pull up a chair and join me on my journey!

xoxo Hayley xoxo
